Your car suspension consists of a system of dampers, springs and linkages that connects the body of the vehicle to its wheels. It contributes to the car braking and handling.
There are two main types of suspension systems independent and dependent. It refers to the face of the wheel's ability to move or in respect of each other.
Independent suspensions have several sub-types including double triangles, multiple links and McPherson struts. Independent suspensions are said to be more comfortable and able to grip on different surfaces. It allows the wheels to rise and fall on their own, without damaging the surface of the wheel. Some link the suspension of the wheels are always classified as independent, an example of this influence is bars.
Opponents include the types of suspensions as rigid axles and torsion beams. They are more flexible and less costly. It normally has a beam or a driving axle which keeps the wheels parallel to each other and perpendicular to the axis. When the camber of a change in the wheel of the face of the wheel follows the same direction. Dependent suspensions are more common on vehicles that carry heavy loads.
There is a third type, which is semi-independent. Here, the movement of a wheel on the position of others, but they are not rigidly attached to the other. A twist-beam rear suspension is an example of this system.
